1st clip my response is: They will know we are christians by our love by our ......oh fuck it! hahahahah I have seen this woman in this clip and I think she is a real freak,I feel sorry for her kids, she is a total freak extremest,I am embarrassed for her,I guess she missed the gluttony part in the bible, oooooh I guess that was not nice ! On thr RRS debate someone should ask Kirk Cameron for scientific proof that he found anywhere in the bible that says there is anything such as Rapture which is the christian religion followers big lie, they just made that shit up,anyways, controlling anyhting like this and having a leader is no different than any occult as far as I am concerned,it just becomes the few misleading the many! on the total debate my view is,Like the old commercial from when I was a kid says"Stop your both right" I don't understand why they separate evolution and God creation, how come they can't be one in the same, even if you only read the bible lets say,Genesis says God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th or whatever, then they totally miss the part right after that says a day to God could be 1 year or a million years,I don't have this perfectly exact, but you can get the idea of what I am saying, and for men who suppossedly followed the bible how about the whole idea that the earth is flat, one of the first lines in the bilble is "And the earth hung as an orb"I guess they don't know that an orb is round? I just don't understand these debates,Me thinks it is a waste of time. I jsut believe what I believe,I guess.

I worked with a Jehovah's Witness once. He used to say things like:
1) Bill O'reilly and Ann Coulter are geniuses.
2) The world began in 4004 BC
3) Liberals and Pagans are in league with The devil
4) Alcohol is safe and Marijuana is the Devil's Weed
I used to look at him puzzled. One day i said to him, "Native Americans think there is more Truth and God in a Peyote Button than there is in the entire Bible"
He flipped out. What an insane lot. You can get a glimpse on what woman, Pagans, and Herbalists went through during the Inquisition.

I suppose that a "debate" on this does raise a question or two among those that have never followed the part of their nature that encourages curiousity. I try to avoid this, and if I am foolish enough to be drawn into this sort of hamster-wheel,( say, I am trapped at a family outing and my born-again brother in law feels the need to "save" me ,yet again), I do not accept the bible as the word. I go over the roots of the Jewish faith, the early Phoenicians and the Egyptians, the Babylonian captivity, all these changed the nature of Judaism long before the Christians changed it yet again. I talk about the Nicean gathering which codified the Bible so as to make the Roman Emperor supreme on earth, and Jesus supreme in the realm of the spirit. How over 70 books were burned, cast away by this conference, and scores were burned at the stake, just to make the point that this is IT, and don't rock the boat! Most of the Moron Majority I run into haven't the foggiest idea about where their "divine" scripture came from, and they uniformly reject what I say as the work of the Evil One.

I think he means "Moron". You know, we have had this idea for a long time. The Bible could be written by the Devil, of course using their terminology. Wasn't Jesus upset that the his teachings would be written down instead of lived? The Middle Ages used the Bible as a Sword and Club to dominate weaker people. The result of State and Religion becoming one. I have a Navajo friend, and he said this is an ancient concept. Only Devils and Demons write down what is supposed to be from the Great Spirit. Thus the Sweat Lodge and Dancing. My interpretation is that "spirit" is energy and can only be experienced, not read about. That brings to mind:

Socrates lamented the rise of literacy as he felt it would destroy the mind. Loss of the ancient oral traditions and the use of song and dance to associate various types of knowledge would lead to people becoming smaller and more "mechanical", hence, more out of touch with the "experience".("And the wind cries...Mary.")

Yeah the MORANS own lots of corporate business too, I know of a couple they own an Esspresso stand locally I go to,they wont, can't,don't drink coffee as it is a sin.Strange reasoning,I wonder if they had to go to the head of the church to discuss selling this drug before they did it. I told her one day that she was a drug dealer, pushing coffee and bringing in the $booty for selling it,but it is a sin? ? That is like owning a whore house and being the madame, but because she is not doing the acts herself, she is not the one sinning, anyways, Come on really basically what this Moran (Mormon) is saying is that it is o.k for my sinning body to drink it but not her perfect body,so I told her than she is like a drug dealer. She got a bit offended to say the least,I don't see how she can make espresso shots and not taste it ever to make sure that they are any good. weird ass stuff, religion, and I agree that we are probably missing a ton of info, that the elite that have always controlled everything hid from us,so they could do dirty deeds back long ago, just as they do today. chicky

Some might argue that the two are synonymous with one another.
Did anyone catch any of this debate btw?

I can't remember if this was posted before or not. If so, just ignore it. I watched this debate live a long time ago. I'm not sure if the link even still works. If not, sorry in advance. Dinesh D’Souza & Christopher Hitchens Debate “Is Christianity the Problem?”www.tkc.edu/debate/
