AH YES...A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME... GUESS IS WHO IS GOING TO PAY THE MOST FOR "SAVING THE EARTH"..THE MOST? YOU GUESSED IT...THE WORKING CLASS. THE RICH WILL CONTINUE TO EMIT THE SAME AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE....BUT WORKING PEOPLE GET PRICED RIGHT OUT OF THE MARKET FOR FUEL AND PROBABLY...EVENTUALLY FOOD. THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR DRIVING TO WORK TO FEED YOUR FAMILIES YOU BAD, BAD HUMANS. Gore followers....you wanted it...you got it. THANKS ALGORE. ******* Hitting EU's energy targets will cost Brits at least £2,000 This article appeared in the Observer on Sunday March 30 2008 on p2 of the Business news & features section. It was last updated at 00:03 on March 30 2008. It will cost every household in the UK at least £2,000 to comply with the new European Union target of producing 15 per cent of all energy from renewable sources by 2020, according to a report commissioned by the government. The report also says the UK will have to spend far more to meet the target than other EU countries, because the UK lags behind the rest of Europe on renewables and is a heavy energy user. But the Oil companies have nothing to do with energy increases after record profits. It's all Al Gore's fault!!

A gallon of Gasoline costs about the same price for a Gallon of beer.
There is absolutely NO REASON to punish working families with prices like that.
A "carbon tax" would surely sink the poor and probably the middle class.
The elite always create a REGRESSIVE tax..(a tax that slams the poor)...they wont let their buddies get the foot of the bill.
WE have to pay. Its bullshit.
Pay for corporate oil profits.
Pay for AL GORE style carbon taxes.
Either way....the working man is F**KED.

What about Exxon Mobil raping the public, and putting ZERO into alternative energies? This Carbon Tax is not even in effect yet, and you are blaming it on Al Gore. The culprits are the Oil and Pharmaceutical companies. What is so difficult to understand about this? And......they pay less taxes, almost nothing, and we subsidize through our tax dollars R & D. We are paying Big Oil to Screw us. It just does not make any sense. www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/04/01/national/w001105D60.DTL&hw=exxon&sn=001&sc=1000
