Alan Watt is basically an esoteric version of Alex Jones. Like Alex, he talks of the "evils" of feminists, gays, LSD, and such, much like David Icke, Henry Makow, Jeff Rense, et al. Like Alex, is is correct on certain subjects, but I don't exactly share his thoughts on chemtrails. I think they are to reduce global warming and reflect back sunlight and UV-B. This mind control aspect is simply too paranoid.
IMO, again, it is an attempt to discredit all of the positive aspects of the Hippy Generation, the one that stopped the Corporate/Free Trade/Globalist/NWO juggernaut in it's tracks for awhile. Personally, I find most of these stealth Right Wingers boring, and who knows, maybe THEY are the CIA/Mossad moles/plants, and not us hippies, environmentalists, vegetarians, atheists, gays, and feminists. After all, Libertarians are all for Free Trade, which is corporations running everything, including the government. Conservatives are Libertarians that don't smoke pot.
The underlying hatred of the values of the 60s, and for current Progressives is based in corporatism, and the threats that they pose to Globalization/Free Trade. In addition, organized religion, pollution companies, oil, nuclear, alcohol, meat, pharmaceutical, military, and Male Dominance are all threatened by the Non-Linear thinkers.
So, this is the way i approach these people. What is logical and humanistic, then I accept their views. When it is corporate, bigoted, unconstitutional, religious, or irrational, I reject those points of view.
