WHO CONTINUES TO KILL THE ELECTRIC CAR ? The short obvious answer, the car makers and the oil companies who are driven by greed. It is disheartening to say the least that at a time in our history when the earth itself is telling us that we must find and use other forms of energy and move away from fossil fuels that the petroleum industry is so powerful that it controls every facet of what new energy technologies are allowed to advance into the public realm. I say disheartening because of the oil industries absolute need of control fostered by the greed of those at the top of the oil heap who can not and will not allow the slightest new energy shift to take place unless they are the ones in charge of it and reap the dollars from it, this is a fact that we all know to well now, if not in detail, then certainly through our dependence on the great oil Gods that we are forced to bow down to each and every day and pay tribute too with a lot of $$$$$$$$$. Here is another example and reminder of just how and why we are being kept prisoners against our will in this oil based (Oil $$$$$$$$$$) society. www.ev1.org/"Don't buy any Internal Combustion ("IC") car until EVs are made available on the free market for purchase by any willing buyer."

Yes, Here's a quote from the Science and Technology section I made awhile ago
"I remember the Chrysler Turbine car at the New York World's Fair in 1964. This car ran on ANYTHING flammable, and the guy poured whiskey into the tank. GM did EVERYTHING in their power to kill that BTW."
I used to see one around Bergen County in New Jersey at the same time. It sounded like a high pitched peanut machine as you would drive past it. My Dad, who liked Mopar stuff wanted one.
Ford and General Motors are in terrible shape, Chrysler just hanging on, and Toyota is now #1 car company. Toyota and Honda are BIG on alternative energy. So watch GM and Ford trying to come out with Hydrogen and electric soon, or else Toyota will simply buy out the parts divisions of both Ford and GM.
