Where is the link, bhang? If you would, could you link directly instead of through the post?
Thanks, looking forward.

Hmmm... it seems you need to be logged in to the wachadoo server to open the file. It dosn't even show up unless I'm logged in! I will get with jedimaster and see if we can work out a direct link... sorry for the confusion. I'll fix it asap.

One great thing about being a soilder in the new millenium: AMAZON.COM! We had just about anything we needed once the army set up a few 'internet cafes'. The Mp7 Sifu had bought is shown below, he had the purple one. It had very clear and good samplewaveforms. Editing on sounds was easy and layering em makes em more solid and stronger. Drums and bass-sounds are definitive strong points here, lack of pianos etc is a drag, but you can get another ROM for that. I didn't do anything extraordinary here, I just saw Sifu playing around with it after patrols. I asked him if I could mess around with it. I have a good ear for music so I came up with this rather fast but was having trouble with the drum line. He laid it out in a couple of minutes and Wha-La! We made a few other tracks together but I cannot find the cd we had burned them onto. The above I had on one of my pen drives. By the way swamp, I have listened to at leat 6 or 7 of Nobel Gases songs and have never posted comments... I must say you guys are pushing boundries with your music and I'd love to pop a few shrooms and analyze a few more of your tracks. Theta has an awsome voice! Keep rocking and if I can locate that cd I'll throw a few more links up here. (I play guitar not drum machines so I will not be composing anymore techno-like beats anytime soon). Now please excuse me for I must get ready for work....

This was, if one does, it enhances it. Thetaloops has been singing since the 1950s, when she would join Connie Francis on the 45 RPM machine in her house. I have been playing since 1956, when Rock and Rock was basically invented. What we try and do is to draw every music source of the past........well.......100,000 years into a modern sound. What a lot of contemporary musicians do is throw out the roots, and thus a lot of music today is without soul or substance. We love melodies (must be the English in both os us), and we were talking about all of the great tunes you could hum along with from the 50s and 60s, even back to the 30s. I encourage musicans today to listen to older music, and I think it broadens one's scope on other issues too. There is a lot of anger these days, and justifably so. But listen to a pop song like Spanky and Our Gangs, "Like to get to know you", or the Lemon Pipers "Green Tambourine". These were millions sellers, and were psychedelic. Mech started a list of psychedelic music here: gastronamus.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1103164402It really never ended. We have been pushed underground again, and crap like 50 Cent, Britney Spears, J Lopez, and other "BushCo" music is being rammed down the public's throat. Psychedleic Art and Music has always been at odds with Earthbound art and music. Perhaps until we leave the planet, this is the way it has to be. After 55 years on the planet, I doubt I doubt I will ever change that.

Hi Bhang,
Thanks so much for letting us hear your music. I want to listen to it on our system at home this weekend. And also thanks for enjoying Noble Gas. As always these days anything worth creating is a labor of love. You support is so welcome.
I have some other pieces of art that I will post this weekend also. Keep up the good work.
Your friend,
TL
