I really like the lyrics of Right In Two. It makes me think of the religious right and wedge issues used to divide people "right in two" in to two opposing sides. These divisive issues create the “us vs. them” victim mentality which allows the politicians to step in and divide and conquer. Things like abortion, gay marriage etc. It also reminds me of the schism that exists within organized religion. No two churches of the same denomination even seem to agree on everything. I think it's about humanity in general and the path we as a whole have chosen. We have free will, we have reason, but this is the path we have chosen. They divide us because we let them. They tell us how to live our lives because we let them..

That’s the great thing about music and yet at the same time what’s so bad about organized religion. The same exact words can carry ten different connotations to ten different people. It’s scary that so many people are historically willing to die or kill over their personal interpretations of their holy books. Music on the other hand is just music meant to be enjoyed by anyone that understands what they’re hearing. It’s inclusive rather than exclusionary (for the most part). Religion could learn a lot from music. That’s one church I’d be willing to attend. The church of rock and I’m not talking about Plymouth. I have to admit that even music can be misused if placed in the wrong hands. Skinhead racist rock, and hateful rap music etc. and some would say the same about metal. I guess in that sense religion and music have a lot in common. For the most part though I don’t think people take songs as seriously as they do scripture. Here's something that shocked the hell out of me. Have you ever heard of the metal band Wicked Wisdom? If not, you'll never guess who the lead singer is. The black actress Jada Pinkett Smith is in a metal band! I think that's great that heavy music is crossing ethnic lines the way rap has. linkI hope that she's accepted in the metal world. It's not like the pop world or politics. You can't just burst on to the scene like George W. Bush or Britney Spears and be immediately accepted. You have to earn respect and that takes time. Britney Spears was an instant "star" & Bush became president. People aren't discerning enough. As long as they continue to make poor choices, the horrible pre-packaged music and garbage politicians will keep coming. Their standards are only as high as what the consumers/voters demand. Right now standards are low as you can tell.

There are other metal acts with black musicians such as Sevendust, Body Count & God Forbid to name a few. There was also that rock band a long time ago that was popular for a while with the song "Cult Of Personality". Hell, I even knew a black kid in NY that wore a Marilyn Manson shirt. Hard to believe but true.
Body Count I don't think has been putting out albums anymore but the lead singer used to be the rapper Ice-T. I don't care for him at all, he calls himself the "original gangster". It is nice to see metal music though move across racial bounds. It proves that people of all backgrounds can appreciate what it is.

He's just picking on Halva and Footsoldier...Same old routine for good old "JAY". He's got a wedge between FT and Halva,, It's the way he likes to play his game....Nothing new to anyone here.."JAY" seems to be like that noxious little weed you just can't seem to get rid of..
Speaking of Halva,Does anyone have anything against him, can we invite him here??I know he's looking to get away from "JAY" and I also know "JAY" will not be tolerated here.........

Welcome back CD. That is tough for kids to lose friends. Happened to me when I was 8 years old, and a friend who was also 8, died from cancer. It was baffling, and yet one of those events that you never forget
