I love the speed metal big time....The Singing leaves little to be desired...That deep devilish bellow doesnt do it for me,Without that the music would be superb. Here is something you might like KT, I think it may be a German band, not sure though.. The Amenta - NIHIL www.theamenta.com/nihil.mp3

According to Amazon it just shipped Friday. I should get it either Monday or Tuesday. The deep, guttural toned vocals are an acquired taste. You either love it or you hate it. I’ve grown to enjoy it depending on the music. At times regular singing doesn’t seem to jive for me with the dark heavy riffs of a really hardcore band. I did copy one song from satellite radio by a band called Scar Symmetry which does a song that switches back and forth between the kind of vocals you’re talking about and the trademark growls of death metal. I think the song was called Calculate The Apocalypse? This is the band's website. I guess the style is known as "Progressive Metal" whatever that is? www.scarsymmetry.com/They have a link to a download for one of their songs. I haven't heard this one before. Link
