No desert conditions here in Maine to speak of, we have had so much rain since last Thursday the seedling Brussel sprouts that I put in the garden look like water lilies right now, beans and lettuce have been under water and are gone, I will have to replant them as soon as the garden dries out, if it dries out, the leaves on my peppers are yellow as are the tomatoes but at least I managed to get some garden in, lots of folks around here have not even started to get their gardens in as yet, to much standing water to deal with.
The gardens will produce late this year I think, and yes, it's still raining here in vacation land as I write this post, five days and nights of the piss, it can stop anytime.

This is so true I planted here in the Northwest and I just cant get enough direct sunlight at least 5 hrs. a day would be great, but it seems like every time we get sun the trailboys start and by early morning and afternoon it is hazy.We got like 2 days last week of sunny days and my cabbage went nuts like it had just been waiting for ANY at all sunlight.Actually most of the plants of course benefitted it is just the cabbage that truly seemed to take advantage of it the most. SURE MISS THE BLUE CLEAR SKIES!!!! Raining(pouring right now)
