The time is now for us to take the steps to clean up this planet. I think the Live Earth concerts were a great idea. Reministent of the 60's movement. Please sign the pledge to be part of the movement, if you agree with the cause. Sign the Live Earth Pledge today by visiting: algore.com/pledgeHere is a letter that can be used to invite your friends to get involved. Subject: Sign the Live Earth Pledge Hi, Live Earth was a unique moment that now presents us with a unique choice. Do we use this unprecedented opportunity to organize a global movement that will last beyond the concerts themselves? Or do we let the moment pass? That's why I'm asking you to join me in signing the Live Earth Pledge, which calls for a 90% cut in global warming pollution. The pledge is a simple way to show that the political will exists to take the bold steps necessary to end the climate crisis. But it will only be effective if millions of Americans speak out and add their voice. Sign the Live Earth Pledge today by visiting: algore.com/pledge

yes, I think everyone on a personal level should reduce their pollution, cruelty, and increase their Green Consciousness. These large gatherings are just to help us see what we as individuals can do.
Contrary to Paranoids and Environmental Shills that infiltrated or were paid off, Al Gore is doing what The Beatles and other leaders did in the 60s....Lead on an important issue or social movement. Saying he is out to reduce population is simply.......blather.
What I do find interesting is that the people who are attacking Gore and environmentalists are also against Space Migration. So they say, pollute the planet, as long as oil companies and privitization beocome the normal, but do not escape to space, away from a polluted planet.
I am beginning to see that many of these Libertarians are crackpots.
I would be curious to ask him about he is thinking of WTO and NAFTA though, as they were his biggest mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. After all, the Libertarians hate gays, Woman's Rights Activists, Environmentalists, and the ACLU. It is whether a person sees that they did and corrects the errors if they possibly can.

I do think Al Gore is doing the right thing with getting as many as possible behind a good cause. As you say this is how the movement in the 60's happened. The ideas and music brought the young people together. I really hope that the enthusiasm doesn't wear thin as TPTB try to brainwash them through the media. Or they get burnt out on alcohol, or other linear drugs as they get older, as many of the baby boomers did. I would like to hear Al Gore appologize for supporting Nafta and WTO when he was VP. Maybe he has and I have not heard it. Over all I do strongly beleive in strength in numbers and we need the numbers because we (the People) are under attack not only here in the US but all over the world.
