I saw the movie the "Animatrix" a while back,,,, In the 2nd Renisance Pt 1 it showed Robots being used as "slaves" for humans purposes. The robots in the movie later of course conquered the Human Race. But...the robots in question look REMARKABLY like this REAL robot!!! www.sony.net/SonyInfo/QRIO/top_nf.htmlGot a chill... there seems to be a human-machine interface in the future.
The problem is the same as everything else including digital money, RFID chips, and the lie detector glasses.
The people in charge are not to be trusted.
When they are more trustworthy, then this technolgy will be welcomed.
Until then, it is for slavery.
Here's the lyrics to Krafterk's "Computer World" from 1980

I saw a program on the Learning Channel a few years ago about A.I. - the implications of this technology within the next 50 years is truly astounding. It's bad enough we already have hand implants, I fear the day people get micochips directly grafted onto the brain. Sure it would be cool at first - The papers would read: "man recites whole dictonary!" Oh you know what will happen then... viruses, mods, brain reprogramming, hackers and the like. It makes me think of a classic PC game Syndicate Wars. It was based of the premise of a Government Faction vs. Religious Faction set in the future. Viruses and Information are the whole reason for total war. It makes me wonder if mankind will ever evolve out of slaying eachother? I know it's the law of the jungle but we know better, the question is will we ever adhere to this higher calling of unity and peace for all? I'm not sure but I do believe we already live in a matrix, it's just now the techno-junkies want to create one that they can totally control. Science Fiction usually turns out to be true in the long run. The machines will win if we are not careful.
