Subject MySpace has threatened to delete our profile!!
Body: MySpace has contacted us and requested that we change our posted age. They stated that if we did not do so within 2 weeks that they would then delete our profile.
The reason that we are telling everyone this is because they will currently not allow us to change our posted age. Every time we try, we are given an error message. We realize that these error messages do happen on occasion.... but we have tried many times and with always the same result. We will continue to try.
Are we being forced into deletion by not being allowed to meet their demands? If this profile disappears from MySpace, you will now know why and we hope that everyone will be very vocal about it and not remain silent. Thank you.

MySpace has special privacy and safety settings for users under the age of 18. We would like to remind you that you may not pretend to be older than 18 to get around these safety measures. We are providing you a two week amnesty period to accurately portray your age. Please take this time to update your profile and set it to your real age to avoid deletion. Thanks!

Every time I go to reset my age, you give me a message that reads "Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred. This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group." Is this your way of forcing my profile into deletion? I will keep records of how many times I attempt to make the age change and how many times you deny me the access to do so.
I find it very interesting that you allow thousands of individuals to pretend they are someone they're not (ie. George Bush, certain celebrities, and certain musical groups, etc.) yet you are concerned about my posted age? Sounds like a bunch of crap to me and it sounds like I'm possibly being targeted for the content on my profile.
Again, I will keep all records of our communication and the number of times that I attempt to comply with your threats... er, uh... I mean demands. Please allow me the ability to change my age."
