www.outlookindia.com/pti_news.asp?id=421574Of the 16 accused, 12 have been arrested under MCOCA. Of these, seven retracted their statements today, while five others would be produced on October 13 for extension of remand.
Defence lawyer Shaheed Azmi said the disclosure of the accused about their "forced" confession is considered significant because they have told the court about police "pressurising" them to sign blank papers on the first available opportunity given to them.

There are too many people who think lying is ok. I never thought there could be such widespread corruption. I've always tried to keep hope alive, to see the good in everyone.
But as the years have gone on, I have heard too many stories about fascist pigs making crap up. Are we just being paranoid? I don't think so. I could see pigs handing blank sheets to people to sign. I don't think personally I would ever sign a blank sheet in a po lice station, but heck, if they started beating on me, who wouldn't sign the damn sheet of paper.
Thus the pig can go get another donut, and one can be on their way. Unfortunately, pigs will say one thing to you, but most of them have no code of honesty, no sense of decency. They will tell you one thing, then lie, and just use you. Unfortunately, television has reinforced in the sheep that cops are out for our best interests, that they gotta do what they gotta do to get the job done. Same logic as with war criminals committing torture, waging illegal wars, and all the other bullshit no good amoral activities conducted by fascists.
As Rage Against the Machine said, NOW TESTIFY, or as I like to quote -- fu I won't do what u tell me. I don't like the smell of bacon.
And that Lockerbie plane terrorist thing, remember that one, more lies out of no good cops.
