The Dems have painted themselves into a corner. By shifting further and further to the right, seeking to remain competitive with the knuckle dragging patriots and born again zombies which have come to dominate the political circus, they no longer can claim to represent anything more than the corporate interests which pay them off at only a slightly lesser rate than the GOP is bribed.
When the Dems signed on to the anti-communist crusade of postwar America, allowing the passage of Taft-Hartley, passively allowing the gains of organised labor to be destroyed, they showed that they were the same agents of the elites' as the GOP.
What will be gained by a superficial "exposure" of the 911 fiasco? The party line will certainly not be that a fascist take over of the remnants of democracy has occured.
They will not question the "war on terror" slogans which are used to define the U.S. relationship to the "third world".
They might call for some "reform" of the Homeland Security laws which now trump any pretense of liberty under the constitution.
It will be another "All The Presidents' Men" moment, in which a few scapegoats are sacrificed for public attitude control, but nothing of substance will change, except for the new "reform" image of the same old crooks.
The Supreme Court has refused to deal with many suits brought forth by persons seeking a legal redress of the excesses of the government. This is no surprise, if one remembers that the Court appointed Bushco to the Presidency in the first place.
The whole thing is shadows and mirrors, meant to distract the few that vote from any substantive insight into what the real program has been for two hundred years, the theft of wealth from the many for the benefit of the few.
