"Look at me - I am poor and naked, but I am the chief of the nation. We do not want riches, but we do want to train our children right. Riches would do us no good. We could not take them with us to the other world. We do not want riches. We want peace and love." -- Chief Red Cloud; Oglala Lakota I have to live with myself, and so I want to be fit for myself to know. . . . . . . . .Edgar A. Guest When a strong recognition presented itself, it struck me that I was already acquainted with Edgar A. Guest and his works. So expecting something familiar back, I put in a search to verify my musings. Instead, the results proved me wrong . . . and I am so happy! ;DThanks so much Thetaloops for the introduction to Mr.Guest. ;D I sincerely appreciate it! ;D[/i]

Edgar Friendly: You see, according to Cocteau's plan I'm the enemy, because I like to think, and I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind of guy who'd walk into a greasy spoon and wonder -- "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of grave fries?" I WANT high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I want to smoke Cuban cigars the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green jello all over my body reading playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the urge to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, and singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiener." "Whenever I'm caught between two evils, I take the one I've never tried." Mae West (1892-1980) [/i][/center]

'If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!"
Well, I've never been a great cook, so I got out of the kitchen, on some of the other sites (which will remain unnamed). I like to just learn and laugh and ponder. Fighting really is no fun to me.

Well, I've never been a great cook, so I got out of the kitchen, I'm the worst when it comes to cooking, my hubby is exquisite though.
