King Crimson.... Still together since the 1960's VERY difficult to get into their music unless you appreciate Progressive music that is a bit on the harsh side. Incredible musicianship. No one can touch them really. Recommended...... NEW STUFF: OLD STUFF

OK, saw KC in 1969, 1970, and 1972 at the Fillmore East. Lineup was Robert Fripp guitars and mellotron, Greg Lake Bass and Vocals, Michael Giles drums, Peter Giles bass, Keith Tippet piano, Mel Collins saxes & flute, and Pete Sinfield Lyrics and Lights. Mel Collins has played with many Art Rock bands, including Camel, who we saw with Collins at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. Pete Sinfield is one of Noble Gas's favorite lyricists. Incredible, thought provoking, and prophetic. www.songsouponsea.comMy favorite CD's are still the first four, In the Court of The Crimson King, Wake of Poseidon, Lizard, and Islands. As Mech said, the newer stuff is a little harder edged, but their music and musicianship is inpeccable. I also did like their "New Wave" phase in the early 80's.
