BEIJING, China (CNN) -- China's worst winter in more than half a century showed no signs of abating Wednesday as forecasters warned of three more days of snow and sleet.
The weather has paralyzed transportation, frozen the power grid and delivered a $4.5 billion hit to the economy, according to figures released Wednesday by the Civil Affairs Ministry.
The situation is compounding economic problems for China. Destroyed crops have resulted in increased food prices, while the inability to transport goods has further inflated prices and led to shortages at stores.edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/01/30/china.weather.apology/index.html?iref=topnews

Yep, all these weather, climate, solar, and environmental problems are causing weather extremes, and not just Global Warming. This could even be the beginning of the Next Ice Age. This is what both sides of the Climate Change debate are missing. Thoma Hartman thinks Global Warming comes before an Ice age. I agree. You don't see this issue addressed by Al Gore or Fred Singer, who are on opposite sides. Then you throw in the solar and magnetic problems, and Man...are we in for a ride!!

Like I said.
I believe in Global warming....I just feel that man plays an insignificant role in it.

That's where we disagree, but that's OK. I think deforestation is one of the biggest problems. Less oxygen+more CO2=more cloud cover=wild temperature fluctuations. I still think we would be better off without burning hydrocarbons and pollutants. Thetaloops is working in architecture field right now, and almost all of the new plans are for more efficient buildings. All in all, I think the Greening will be a good thing, as long as we are not taxed for Carbon usage. That I can agree with. I sometimes wonder whether chemtrailing is the elites trying to accelerate the Global Warming and thus accelerate an Ice age. You have to wonder........Everyone met will applause Al Gore's Arid, dry future, but they panned Day After Tomorrow, which is exactly the Ice age scenario.
