Thursday afternoon I took my wife to the ER,thought it was a stroke or heartattack turns out she has hundreds of tiny stones in her gall bladder and the Doctors said it should come out.Talking with friends in our town there seems to be a helluva lot of gall bladders being removed as of late.Just looking for some input.Thanks.My research so far shows it to be a pretty simple operation, going home the same day.It seems like there will be a lot more problems with the digestive system with this removed. Any thoughts on this?

Just about every one I know except Theta and I had their gall bladders removed. What I understand, it is from heavy use of animal fats. My Dad almost died from it in the early 60s. He consummed massive amounts of steaks and lots of milk. My two sister in laws the same, especially the milk.
The wisest course of action seems to be simply low fat diet after removal and milk thistle, and of course wheatgrass

ill have to agree with Swamp on this one. Animal fats play a big role.
My grandmother is a heavy meat eater (lamb is her favorite) and she had her gallbladder removed 5 years ago.
Then again...she also likes her vodka and orange juice.
Probaably not a good combination.

I went through this operation,I did not drinl any milk for years I did eat meat though, but don't know about the heavy fats. I ended up with gang green and was about 24 hrs. away from being comepletely toxified.and Dead.I was told that a lot of women after pregnancy get this too,and this is what they figured for me because I was only 29 when it happened and had just had a baby about 6 months prior. At the time I kept thinking it was just an ulcer and that I could beal with it,turns out that was a mistake and I should have listened to my doctor and gone in for surgery after all. Lucky I made it through I was extremely ill. As for the digestive problems now,yes somewhat but I just dont eat usually after 6 p.m and I of course limit what I intake. My only downfall is butter and I eat it ocasionally and an occaisional Ice cream. Any way she will feel much better when it is over even if it means limiting certain foods. Because she will just need to remember that there will be nothing to filter the fats if it is removed comepletely. Take care. chicky

Hi am am Jason. My Gall Bladder is full of Shit just like me. I need a Firehose of a colonic irrigation. I have heard that hydrogenated oils are a cause of gall stones. If I think I am beginning to have gall bladder problems I am going to try this flush before I let some AMA quack butcher me: www.embassyofheaven.com/catalog/cleanse.htm

Yes, well that is exactly what I thought and I said that They were full of it and just wanted my money and that I had an ulcer is all,I thought they were quacks,1 year later like I said above, I had ganggreen and was close (seriously) to death. In my case I should have listened to begin with.Gallbladder problems are really nothing to mess with, everything filters through this and I know a man locally who waited too long ended up with it bursting and leaking poisons into his body,it rotted his system and now there is a huge dent scar where he had to be cut away just to stay ahead of the infection. I really should have known better about my doctor of 20 years because he is actually a really good guy.I think you can tell from your physician and what kind of relationship you have with them. chicky

If I understand you correctly, you didn't realize what was wrong with you, so whether or not you would have tried a gall bladder cleanse, you never had the opportunity.
If I should become unfortunate enough to suspect that I have gall bladder problems I am going to try the cleanse first. If that doesn't work then I'll go to a quack.
I have a sister that was experiencing the same symptoms as increase 1776's wife followed a couple of days later by gall bladder removal surgery. She never knew what hit her and didn't have a chance to try any natural remedies.

Does Smell mean an orthodox, medical establishment quack, or a natural healing quack? There are nuts on both sides of the equation, and a good naturopath or orthodox will always incorporate the other side.
