So the EPA head who is pro-fluoride and pro-mercury (which we all agree is bad) is also pro-greenhouse gasses. Go figure.

Well...technically water vapor is ALSO a Greenhouse gas...and so is methane...which I think is 50 times more dangerous than CO2 ever will be.
I still dont see what the hubub is about when it comes to CO2.
CO2 is necessary to life and trees love it.

I still dont see what the hubub is about when it comes to CO2. CO2 is necessary to life and trees love it. Yes, that's mostly true, Mech, but there seems to be a saturation point with plants when it comes to CO2 emissions. This article makes sense, on that removal of excess CO2 is more important than simply reducing emissions. It also mentions methane and water vapor, and their role in the "Second Coming of Global Over Warming". www.co2network.com/Global Over WarmingIt's too much warming, global over warming, that's the problem, not global warming. Global warming is necessary to keep the Earth warm enough for life to exist. The average temperature on Earth without global warming would be zero degrees Fahrenheit. Average Temperature Without Global Warming (.gov) Reducing CO2 Emissions Is Still Adding CO2: Removing The Excess CO2 Already In The Atmosphere Is Truly Necessary: The exact reason why we have global over warming is that more CO2 (carbon dioxide) has been released (since the early 80s) than all plant life can remove (by photosynthesis). In the U.S. there's a lot of talk about laws and technology to reduce the amount of CO2 being released into the atmosphere (emissions). Reducing CO2 emissions will not stop or reverse global over warming because reducing CO2 emissions is still CO2 emissions. According to Al Gore in his Nobel Prize acceptance speech, each day "70 million tons" of global warming gases are added to the atmosphere each day. If we reduce CO2 emissions to 30 million tons each day, obviously adding 30 million tons of CO2 each day to the atmosphere is not going to stop global over warming because there's already more CO2 in the atmosphere than all the plant life on Earth can handle. Even if CO2 emissions were reduced to zero, global over warming would continue because of the excess CO2 in the atmosphere. While reducing CO2 emissions is necessary, reducing CO2 emissions alone can not stop global over warming. If effective CO2 removing technology isn't developed, as temperatures become higher and higher, more and more forms of plant life will die off in larger and larger areas. As plant life dies off there will be a greater demand for the plant life that hasn't died off (fruits and vegetables and plant life to feed livestock). As global over warming continues, most plant life will die and the rest will be eaten. Man starving himself to death by causing global over warming may not be relief for other life on Earth. Global over warming, can lead to the runaway greenhouse effect. Humidity is the central problem in the runaway greenhouse effect. Like CO2, humidity also keeps solar rays from leaving the Earth's atmosphere. As more water evaporates into humidity, more humidity prevents more solar rays from leaving the Earth's atmosphere, more solar rays heats the Earth even more, causing more water to evaporate into more humidity. The cycle leads to 900 degree Fahrenheit weather. The weather on Venus is a great example of the runaway green house effect. Plant Life Can Use Only So Much CO2 Other Vehicle/Industry Emissions Hard On Plant Life Since we have excess warming of the Earth (global over warming) and nothing is removing the excess CO2 from the atmosphere, it's best to assume the runaway greenhouse effect is on the way. The only thing that can prevent the runaway greenhouse effect is to stop global over warming with a strategy and or device that removes more CO2 from the atmosphere than is released into the atmosphere. Capturing and storing more than 70 millions tons of CO2 a day would be quite difficult. It's much more realistic to find a way to split CO2 into carbon and oxygen (C and O2), like plants and some algae do. Eleven of The Last 13 Years Were The Warmest In Recorded History (12/07) We're Lucky CO2 Is The Problem It may sound quite unbelievable to say that we're lucky that the current cause of global over warming is CO2, but for two reasons we are. First, plant life via photosynthesis splits CO2 into C (carbon) and O2 (oxygen), which are not global warming gases. We can work with photosynthesis to stop global over warming. Second, CO2 is heavier than air so it hovers at the Earth's surface where it can be reached to be removed. The are other global warming gases (methane, ozone, CFCs, and many others) that are not used by plant life and do not hover at the Earth's surface. Freon 318 for example is 10,000 times more insulative than CO2. Sulfur Hexafluoride is 22,000 times more insulative than CO2. If we manage to gain control of CO2 and stop global over warming and then cause global over warming again by excessive release of these other global warming gases, even if the problem is miraculously solved, the destruction of plant life and oceans from the first global over warming crisis may not recover enough to survive the second global over warming crisis.

Well if these people think its CO2 (I don't think Global Warming is Man made) we simply should start GREENING...planting more plants...rooftop gardens and grass, plant more fast growing trees, etc etc.
To make people reduce their "Carbon footprint" will put nearly everyone in the poor house (more like the stone age) exept the ultra rich and elite.
Probably the plan all along.

Very Green, very powerful, and it would put the Saudis out of business. This way technology does not take a hit, and we continue to evolve.

Ive spent a lot of time Flying in my 36 years on Earth.
One thing on the landscape that sticks out like a sore thumb when viewing from above is all the big rooftops...most of them black.....of box stores and corporate offices.
I think youd make big gains by planting shrubs, grasses or small trees on these roofs to suck more CO2 out of the air.
Not only that..i think the cost to cool the big box buildings in the summer would go down.

Yes, I think some cities like New York and San Francisco are putting gardens, grass, and trees on roofs. The Globalists like black roofs and square ugly buildings. It reflects their devious minds.
