ShuShu and Larry, life long friends and brother and sister. This is Stormy and Ollie, the Queen. Chirp was rescued by us when he fell from his nest. We eventually let him go into our yard. Pretty cool!

I always liked Cockateils.
I was dating a gal for a while who had one...mostly white in color. But that thing thought he was human.
He could whistle.."the flintstones" theme, pop goes the weasel, could do a "catcall" and all kind of things. When he got mad..(like when you kept him in the cage too long) he would just make a "clicking sound" andd wouldnt stop untill you let him out. Sometimes he would be a brat for the fun of it. What a character!
He hated being in the cage. He would have rather been out among people...he was extremly social and never thought of anyone as a stranger.
She named him "Stoney"
Or "Stoney bird"

Yeah, cockatiels are a very friendly and intelligent bird, probably the smartest of the smaller birds. Here's your friend, CB, alias "the King"

They are very smart birds. My grandmother had a white one named Pretty Boy. He would mimic the microwave timer perfectly. Before I knew his little trick, he would sound off and I would go over to the microwave, open the door and accuse everybody of turning it on. I'm sure Pretty Boy was sitting on his perch just a laughing at me.

Love your birdies! My dad had two of the gray kind of cockatiels! He and his wife loved them dearly as they flew about the house and even poo-poo'ed on his head at times! What a fine feathered family noble gas has! bc ;D

You should be in their room when all 18 of our cockatiels are hungry!
talk about LOUD!
Some impersonate canaries, doves, and nightbirds. We got a few that were unknown origin, possibly a pet store with other birds.
