Not all bunnies are what they seem.
We rescued a rabbit in Jersey City that had escaped from his owner. It was one like the the white rabbit Mech has pictured above. 'Oh how cute' we said. So we brought him in and blocked him into the kitchen. We gave him some food and water. Shortly after we found out to our dismay that he was a chewer. He chewed everything. The woodwork, the chair rungs, and he especially liked ankles. Our little sweet bunny obviously grew up in Jersey City and had gotten toughened up. He would demand food by giving us a bite on the ankle. Over and Over and Over. We were doing the mexican hat dance after a while. Dance partner! We were so glad to find the owners. It was very funny at first, who would ever thought a pushy/biting rabbit.
I think the long back legs are a particular type. I think they are from out west. Use to running fast and long distances. What an experience!
