JETHRO TULL To me....this band was the original Celtic rock group. Listening to the flute and vocals of Ian anderson and crew bring images of Northern European forests, mountains, the scottish highlands, castles, stone fireplaces and medevial trappings. Great stuff! FINALLY...all of their recordings are being remastered from their horrible CD dubs. Id wait for the remasters issue before buying any of the CDS. Official website.. www.j-tull.com/

Saw Tull in 1969, at a high school gym in Phoenix. My favorite album is their Sci-Fi album called "A", with the impeccable Eddie Jobson (Curved Air, UK, Zappa) playing the keys and violin We also like Ian Anderson because he is a lover of birds, and birds simply go nuts over flutes.

Wow. Thats interesting. Mabye they think its another bird or something or just love the frequencies. We think both those reasons, plus they produce sound the same way as a flute or any woodwind, by blowing air through a chamber with a hole. Their favorite pieces are VanHal's, "Flute Concerto in Eb", and Resphigi's, "The Birds" Here's a good one:
