Bush is trying to fast track all of his agendas, before anyone is over this crooked election. This bill is one of scariest of all. Making a fairy tale (the Bible) be the final say in law. These people are really nuts and we're paying for them to do all this. And don't say anything about it or you become the target. or else.

The constitution was written by a bunch of liberals anyway. That's why they have to rewrite it.

Even though for five years I felt that something just wasn't right with the world, It's sad that it was a only year ago when I woke up. Therefore some of the legal jargon I can't understand yet, but I'm still reading and learning. So with respect I am asking:In layman's terms does that bill mean that just because someone holds a government office they can't be charged for any crimes they commit? And another question I had:This awful thing that swamp posted at - Topic: Some Patriot Act 2's Hitlerian aspects gastronamus.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=conspire&action=display&thread=1100987212 When does it get voted on? And would it be I a good idea to write congress opposing it?

AHM,
You mean section 205 of PA2? It is designed to protect peope like Cheney from criminal investigations. The logic must go something like, "If you elected into office, you must be honest". Bizarro World logic at best.
Your guess is as good as mine when this Constitution destroying piece of garbage will be voted on. Calling Democratic senators will have a bit more response than Repubs, but best to call Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, or Russ Feingold.
