Mech inspired me (Actually, we have a VAST youtube thrtead at KVR, but one here won't hurt, either). Let me draw first Blood with one of my absolute favorite songs AND videos, ' Useless', by Depeche Mode(Diferent, more beat-heavy mix than the LP release): www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbXnoneLnGY[dedicated to my Wife who I hope to God finds Peace one way or another..]NEXT!

I pretty much like everything DM has done, and Useless is OK, but Sonically and conceptually, Strangelove is more relatable to me. Martin Gore went through some pretty nasty stuff in the late 80s early 90s, when DM lost their synth/Gay/Bi identity, and were trying their hardest to be Kurt Cobain/Nirvana. No wonder Gore was ready to jump off a bridge, and he became a Born Again Christian. Useless is Gore's assessment of his identity crisis of the time.

Useless is Gore's assessment of his identity crisis of the time. It has it's own special meaning to me that I'm sure I need not convey. I've always loved that song, particularlly that mix. That was an intense album after an intense run for those guys and it really came through on the LP.. I worked production for them on the Violator Tour and even got my 'Local Violator' crew shirt I treasured for years till some asshole stole it from me..

Hey Atom Heart!!! Good to see you back. Hope the computer holds up... Great Videos. "Days go by" is so simple, yet effective, and the music has a New Wave 80s feel to it The TZ is one of our favs. "The State Has No Need For Your Kind"

Got a brand spankin' new hardrive (cheap) from fry's outpost ;D Good to be back, but since I'm having to work now, I probably won't be able to vist as much as I would like to. To my yardwork agenda, I've had to add " :Pdomestic engineering ". In this video: youtube.com/watch?v=alEGSgSpKVg I think he has the same sentiments about cleaning carts that I do.
