Please keep in mind that I was not looking for anything like this at all. I was on a recon mission for a personal project, peering out of a clearing in a remote, wooded area along the spine of the Holyoke Mountain Range, overlooking a part of the Pioneer Valley region, of western Massachusetts.

A further disclaimer: I'm not very good at being clear on directions, points of compass, light angles, time of day and such, so my report may prove frustrating to researchers more inclined toward precision. This is one of the main reasons I was disinclined to come forward with this story. I don't want my credibility to be drawn into question or for folks to think I'm a loon. You know the drill.

Weird....Flutething and his son saw a triangular shaped one awhile ago in New York (Westchester Co).

Do you have access to the picture without the enlargement. I'd like to see the full picture from origin point.

There were lots of reports of UFOs near High Point in New Jersey, near the Appalacian Trail. Back in the late 60s, we used to drive up there, looking for sightings. Just seeing the meteorites was a thrill, but visual pollution from New York actually reaches up there now, 7o miles form the city.

I'm wondering if it was the same UFO that was reported on April 30th, 2005 in Dunstable, MA.

coming home late from work, I saw a slow moving triangular shaped craft with red and green lights just above the tree line.

coming home from work around 2:30 am. I had just gotten off the highway. As I traveled on the winding back road, off to my left In the distance, I noticed a bright light low in the sky. My first thought was that it was a helicopter. As I traveled along, I noticed it was going in the same direction as I was,West. I thought It was strange because it was very bright, and not very high in the sky. I then thought, it must be a helicopter searching for someone. I lost sight of it behind the trees on the winding road. about 30 seconds later ,right in front of me just above the tree line I saw a triange shape craft with red and green lights underneath. I stoped the car, because I could not beleive what I was seeing. It looked like a stealth, but was moving at a crawling speed. I remember saying to myself it's not making any noise like plane. I downed the car window to see if I could hear any noise coming from it , but I heard nothing. It moved very slow and silent just above the trees toward the northeast. I wanted to tell someone what I had seen but kept it to myself, because I knew they would think I was crazy. that was a little over a month ago. Then I was on my way home from work again and heard a radio talk show on UFO's decribe exactly what I had seen. I was bothered by it so much that I told my daughter and son-in-law. They searched for flying triangles on the internet and found your websight. We couldn't beleive that what I had described to them was not only a true UFO sighting, but also had been seen by many others. My son-in-law said that you had a UFO reporting center to help track sightings. I decided to send you a report of my sighting. I hope it helps to find out what these flying triangles are.

Some kind of weird electrical/emotional effect overcame me. I don't know of a better description.

There were tears of ... ?? .. in my eyes. I was shaking. I felt...Joyful. Terrified, Confused, Elated, -- and quite ALONE.

I still don't know why there was such a strong reaction. I've seen many UFOs and strange things all my life. Why THIS event hit me so potently, is something I will be pondering for some time come...

I hate when that happens... It's even worse when one flys right over you...

Mech,are there any military bases in that area?

Yup...a huge logistics base at WestoverAFR/springfield, MA where the massive C-5 Cargo planes come in and out of on the way to Iraq..and also they are worked on mechanically there as well.

You also have the A-10 thunderbolts and blackhawk attack helicopter base in Westfield, MA...which is my hometown.

On the other side of the state....Boston area

You have Otis..which is where the F-15 Eagles were lauched out of on Sept 11th.

Basically those are the most active bases.

Westover has constant transient miltary aircraft coming in and out so.....the site where the photos were taken were closest to Westover AFRB.

Used to spend alot of time in Spokane,Wa.,Fairchild AFB.Now a tanker refueling wing,at one time B-52 base.Lot of strange looking stuff going on up there.Saw what looked like a Bose Wave Radio flying across Spokane ,it stopped and went straight down like it was riding an elevator.It was triangle shaped.

Here's an interesting news clip.I find it particularly interest because if you notice about a minute into the clip there is a guy that films these objects streaking across the sky on a regular basis.I see these on a daily basis with the naked eye.I just thought i was seeing things but this video proves otherwise.*(sigh of relief)
Anyway, does anyone else ever see this??
