How the hell do they survivve the cold?
My sisters parakeet died when it was 50 outside and she left it out.

These guys live in 20 below in Minnesota. Hardy, and pigeons live with thme in their nests. They have sentrys that look out for flacons.

Wow...id love to have them around my place...but where I live in a water reservation and wildlife area we have Bald eagles, tons of hawks and owls.Plus many foxes. There are hardly any grey squirrels around because they get eaten like....instantly.
Mabye there is a certain way to attract them.

They are legal in Massachusetts and they make wonderful pets, but like any domesticated animal, must stay inside.

They probably wouldn't do too well where i live due to all the predator birds...however....although I get many cardinals, chickadees, cedar waxwings, robins, bluejays, titmouse, warblers, goldfiches, creepers, woopeckers, sapsuckers etc...at my house all the time when conditions are right.
i leave food out for the winter birds.
Unfortunately..I cant keep any birds whatsoever...im on the road for days at a time and the only animal who is very self-sustaining are cats...so a cat is my only option.

They must be really ballsy parrots...if they can kick out BROOKLYN pigeons.
I thought brooklyn pigeons were tough.
(in my best bayonne accent.......)
